John Carter: Extensive Andrew Stanton Interview

More news for the day. This time Aint It Cool News mastermind Harry Knowles has posted a rather lengthy interview with John Carter director Andrew Stanton at http://www.aintitcool.com/node/53561 and there is some interesting comments from Stanton about the casting of Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins, his approach to adapting Edgar Rice Burroughs, working with composer Michael Giacchino (whose score Stanton compares favorably to John Williams' original Star Wars score) and why the Therns were added (even though I have a hard time buying his reason).
