John Carter Blu-Ray Unavailable? UPDATE

That seems to be the word that several sites are reporting and indeed I just checked Amazon http://www.amazon.com/John-Carter-Four-Disc-Combo-Blu-ray/dp/B005LAIH3G/ref=sr_tr_sr_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333733299&sr=8-1 and it is listed as "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." I wonder if someone didn't jump the gun or there's been a change of plans. Stay tuned for more news... UPDATE: Well now it's back for pre-order. Will Amazon, Disney or whoever make up their minds!

Strange things happening with John Carter and Rebbox also. I'm from the midwest; the Redbox site says that John Carter should be available today, but I checked about 20 area kiosks and it is not listed as available or checked out. Wierd

Me again. Found this on MSNBC MSN site. Could be the reason:
"Disney is the only studio at loggerheads with Netflix over the window issue, but it's not the only one fighting with Redbox. The kiosk rental company refused to accept Warner's demand that it wait 56 days to rent new releases, as its business is heavily dependent on having fresh movies. It is now stocking its machines with Disney and Warner discs that it purchases from retail stores."
